Job descriptionAviation / aerospace manufacturing Aerospace Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables Repair machine tools and parts Set up and adjust production machineries / tools Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers) Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments Program CNC machine tools Micrometers Callipers Gauges Verniers Ultrasonic Milling machines Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines Computer-aided design (CAD) Own transportation Ability to work independently Fast-paced environment Tight deadlines Standing for extended periods Attention to detail Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Accurate Dependability Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Flexibility Initiative
