This position will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our facility by effectively screening inbound and outbound trucks at the gatehouse. If you are a highly responsible individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment.

Our ideal candidate will possess :

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License and First AID / CPR
• Proven experience in security, preferably in a gatehouse or similar setting
• Excellent Communication Skills, observation and attention to detail skills.
• Takes Pride in Delivering Outstanding Customer Service
• Comfortable with Radio Communication
• Able to Write Reports on Job-Related Activities
• Keen Eye for Observing Exterior and Interior Premises
• Access Control Experience
• Approaches a Situation with a Listening Mindset
• Mature Attitude Towards Executive Protection
• Drives and has the ability to commute in Durham
• Having a personal Vehicle is an asset
• Ability to walk / stand 12-hour shifts, providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents

Pay Range : $18 to $ 19.23

Location - Ajax, Pickering, Whitby - Durham Region, ON
