Our dynamic National Claims Operations team is looking for an experienced Senior National Claims Specialist , QA to join our highly respected team.
Our ideal candidate will be an expert in claims auditing, examining, including monitoring claims in legal proceedings, negotiating and settling claims, conduct internal claims audits as well as providing support, training and mentoring to more junior team members.

How you will create impact :
- Prepare, plan and conduct file audits Nationally including : review adjudicated files (internally), review vendor files (externally) for content and quality of claims resolution, assess and report on training needs and prepare audit reports.
- Consolidate and analyze results or trends and make recommendations to leadership on audit findings to support risk mitigation and expense control.
- Provide Claims SME support on projects as required and support the execution of the claims roadmap.
- Manage adjuster and / or litigation programs to ensure timely progress
- Develop solutions for complex claims problems and staff training
- Monitor regions' bodily injury and property damage , major loss / reinsurance reporting and identify second look claims.

To join our team :
- Minimum 10 years of commercial claims experience is required.
- Previous experience auditing claims files
- Having Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is an asset.
- Proficiency in English is essential to the main duties in this role, including servicing and communicating primarily with majority non-francophone clients, groups, teams.
Drafting complex English documents and preparing daily reports for anglophone leaders. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.

- You will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
- Detail oriented work that requires a high degree of mental concentration for extended periods of time.
- You will provide support to clients who are experiencing a personal or financial loss. A high degree of confidentiality and discretion is required.
- You will travel occasionally.

Expected Salary Range : $108,000 $180,000
- The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to : local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
