Role Description

The CNC Machinist is responsible for the production of machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC and manual machines. This role ensures adherence to safety and quality standards while maintaining equipment, tooling, and supplies. Additionally, the role involves coordinating daily shop activities, providing direction, and assisting in the prioritization of work tasks.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

Machining & Programming :

• Schedule and prioritize machining work based on project timelines.
• Review blueprints, models, engineering plans, and specifications; interpret GD&T to plan machining.
• Create CNC programs using Mastercam, Fusion, G-Code, and conversational programming.
• Set up CNC mills and lathes, ensuring proper installation and adjustment of tools, vices, and fixtures.
• Verify settings by measuring first-off parts and adjusting machine controls as needed.

Salary Range : $65,000 - $71,000
