Report Engineer OSC

The Report Engineer (BI Developer) is responsible for designing developing and maintaining high quality reporting solutions that transform raw data into meaningful insights. This role requires strong hands on Power BI capabilities and intermediate experience with Azure Synapse Analytics to support modern BI and analytics workflows.

Location : Across Canada

Status : Contract Hybrid

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document reporting requirements
• Design build and optimize Power BI dashboards datasets and paginated reports
• Develop data models using best practices aligned with performance and usability standards
• Use Azure Synapse Analytics (SQL pools pipelines) to support data ingestion transformation and analysis
• Write and optimize SQL queries and transformations for reporting purposes
• Ensure data accuracy consistency and quality across all BI deliverables
• Implement Row Level Security (RLS) and follow governance standards for data access
• Troubleshoot report issues and provide enhancements to existing BI solutions
• Document data flows logic models and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders
