What you will do
- Management of local tax charge and control over tax accounting for direct and indirect taxes effectively and efficiently.
- Setting procedures, controls and documentations for tax compliance. Ensure that all tax compliances are met on a timely basis.
- Preparation of tax returns and attending to tax audits / queries from relevant authorities.
- Reporting to parent company / COE-Tax on various tax-related matters including Management Tax Computations for Budget & LEs, Tax books, and FTCQ.
- Ensuring target margin for distribution activities of hub entities is in accordance to local Transfer Pricing Documentations.
- Build tax planning ideas for an overall reduction in effective tax rates for the hub.
- Establish partnerships and maintain relationships with multiple parties, including internal cross-functional teams and local advisors and authorities.
- Take the lead in providing advice to businesses on all tax matters.
- Simplify work processes without compromising on compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and / or Finance.
- At least 4-7 years of diversified financial experience.
- Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytics and problem solving skills.
- Possess strong grasp on tax regulations and continuously stay abreast of changes in tax regulations within hub countries and subsequently able to set relevant cadence on tax matters.
