Location : Work from home but must live in Calgary

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field.

As an Account Coordinator at Hot Rod Communications, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' marketing efforts.

Our small, but mighty, team believes in the work hard, play hard mentality and strives to create a positive and enjoyable work environment.

This position will be suitable for individuals starting their career in marketing. Prior experience preferred but not required.

This individual should be a self-motivator, have a passion for marketing, and a willingness to learn and grow.

Work from home with collaboration over video calls and in-person brainstorming. Individual should have a driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to be able to do in-person meetings and willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Account Management :

• Main point of contact for assigned client accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Understand client needs and provide strategic recommendations.
• Ensure marketing objectives are met.
• Manage and oversee timelines and projects.
• Brainstorm and come up with new and exciting ideas.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to execute marketing campaigns.
• Manage creative development, media planning, and campaign implementation.
• Admin duties

Social Content Creation :

• Develop engaging social media content for clients.
• Create and schedule posts, shoot reels, write captions, and source visuals.
• Drive client engagement and brand awareness through creativity and understanding of social media trends.

Key Skills :

• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Great administrative skills
• Creative thinking and ability to develop engaging social media content.
• Proficiency with social media platforms and current social media trends.
• Understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience or knowledge of the restaurant industry is an asset.
• Fresh perspective and willingness to challenge the status quo.
• Sense of humor and ability to have fun while working hard.
