Job Title : Data Analytics Engineer - Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design and build scalable, distributed data processing solutions and high-performance database systems. You will work on projects that power reporting, product analytics, marketing optimization, and financial insights for businesses handling billions of events daily.

As part of a collaborative, self‑organized team, you will tackle complex technical challenges, lead architectural decisions, and create the foundation for data‑driven decision‑making. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement distributed data processing and database solutions.
• Lead functional and architectural design for assigned areas, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Prepare functional and design specifications and validate them with stakeholders.
• Estimate tasks, contribute to project planning, and ensure timely delivery with high quality.
• Analyze alternative solutions and make informed decisions based on technical expertise.
• Identify and mitigate risks within your area of responsibility.
• Conduct code reviews and establish coding standards and best practices.

Suggest technical and functional improvements to enhance product value.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is : CAD 98,000 to CAD 142,100.
