Job Duties :
- Diagnoseand complete all repairs safely and within company policy and manufacturer specifications;
- Troubleshootand repair hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems;
- Testrepaired equipment for proper performance;
- Maintainall required records and files for vehicle maintenance;
- Communicateregularly with managers regarding repair status and concerns;
- Work aspart of a team to support the daily needs of the operation;
- Maintain aclean & organized shop / equipment work area;
- Suggestpositive changes to processes or procedures to enhance operational efficiency;and observe safe work practices.
What will you bring?
- Completion of accredited vocational technical schoolprogram or proof of enrollment;
- Registered Apprentice;
- Must have a valid G driverslicense / Asset : Valid DZ license & clean drivers abstract;
- Own basic tools;
- Working knowledge of hydraulic,electrical, mechanical, ignition, cooling and air brake systems an asset;
- Strong troubleshooting skills;
- Basic proficiency with use of computers;
- Ability to stand / lift60lbs / carrying / bending / twisting for periods at a time / repeatedly;
- Effective communication skills (bothwritten & verbal); and
- Punctual, reliable, team player.
