This Information Security team that is responsible for delivering four key programs.

Security operations
BCP/DR
Audit and compliance response
Vendor security assessment.

HERES HOW YOULL CONTRIBUTE:

• Assist experienced team members with Information Security activities including security monitoring procedures. Document and perform processes related to security monitoring.

• Isolate issues using the suite of Security tools. Work with other staff to identify appropriate course of remediation and suggest methods of tuning systems accordingly.

• Perform and review results from scheduled assessments identifying related risks. Work with other IT teams to identify resolution plans and follow progress to conclusion.

• Assist with data collection and reporting activities in support of sustainment activities under PCI and SOC2 frameworks.

• Conduct initial investigations of escalated security and network events. Assist in maintaining a library of documented response procedures. Participate in knowledge sharing with other analysts and develop efficient solutions.

• Write technical articles for internal knowledge base.

• Working with your co-op peers identify plan execute and deliver a group project or presentation.

HERES WHAT YOULL BRING:

• Enrolled in a Bachelors or similar program at an accredited institution.

• Ability to communicate effectively in a business-friendly language across a spectrum of IT Business and partners.

• Smart adaptable innovative and passionate about cyber security.

• Willingness to learn adapt and improve systems.

• Ability to write clear instructions procedures presentations and training materials.

Total Direct Compensation:

20-25 per hour/ payé à lheure

Any pay range is in $CAD. The stated pay range reflects the total expected compensation for this role (e.g. base pay plus any expected incentives or allowances where applicable)
