As a growing company, Fix Network is looking for a Power BI Developer who can take a firm grip on the wheel and lead our projects in a constantly changing world.
The Power Business Intelligence Developer will be the expert in data modeling, analysis, and visualization. The candidate will design and develop data models that effectively support business requirements.
Your responsibilities as a Power BI Developer at Fix Network :
- Develop and maintain reporting standards.
- Provide subject matter expertise and lead the creation of all deliverable content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, provide insights, and deliver solutions tailored to their business objectives.
- Create and maintain visually appealing and interactive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and visual reports in Power BI that present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to uncover insights and trends, helping make data-driven decisions.
- Integrate data, alter data, and connect to data sources for business intelligence.
- Apply advanced data transformation techniques, including data cleansing, transformation, and aggregation, to prepare data for meaningful analysis.
- Make charts and data documentation that includes descriptions of the techniques, parameters, models, and relationships.
- Establish security on data and comprehend Power BI's application security layer models.
- Perform rigorous quality assurance testing to validate the accuracy and reliability of reports.
- Ensure integration of BI catalog object with overall enterprise architecture.
- Provide coaching to your team members and colleagues.
- Other related tasks as assigned.
What we would like the candidate to have :
- Bachelor’s degree with majors in information system or finance
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional analytical thinking skills for converting data into illuminating reports.
- Familiarity with the tools and technologies used by the Microsoft SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, PowerBI, and DAX.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
- Comprehensive understanding of data modeling, administration, and visualization
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
