Responsibilities

• Coordination with Customs team for releases, rates, invoicing, duties, CBSA, clients and more
• Ensure timely and accurate daily compliance with customs requirements
• Ensure compliance with CBSA / government requirements that shipments can cross the border
• Provide required documentation to support the collection of duties
• Conduct compliance audits on documents (HS classifications, duties) prior to payments
• Managing exceptions of missing data and certificates
• Provide regular updates on flow, compliance opportunities, potential for risks, and more

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in Customs Brokerage
• CCS or CTCS certifications is an asset
• Strong understanding of HS Codes, Tariff Classification, Rules and Regulations
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Detail oriented and possess excellent organization skills with the ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously
• Bilingualism is a must
