We are a growing business, in both our headcount and market share. Reporting to our Finance Manager, in this role you’ll own payroll and expenses and support benefits administration.

You’ll join our growing finance team as we increase our bandwidth and upgrade our systems to support the growth of our business

This is a hybrid role, with two days per week in the office , to facilitate brainstorming and team building. Our office is located across from Guildford Mall, in Surrey, BC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing timesheets and full-cycle payroll for salaried and contract employees for Canada.
  • Management of the company’s new expense system.
  • Review and validation of expense submission to ensure compliance with expense and approval policies.
  • Addressing payroll inbox inquiries and working closely with operations to ensure accuracy of employee pay and set up.
  • Working closely with HR in updating people records and benefits administration.
  • Verifying timesheets and calculating source deductions, stat pay and relevant dues.
  • Processing new hire employee set up, terminations, T4s, and ROEs.
  • Other duties including, assisting with payroll & benefits reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements :

  • 3+ years of recent Canadian Payroll experience, ideally including sales compensation
  • Good understanding of payroll legislation, PCP designated required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Detail oriented and a willingness to ask questions.
  • Experience with ADP and Expense management software would be an asset

Compensation

The posted range for this position is between $ 70,000 CAD - $ 85,000 CAD which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient and experienced in the role.

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, training, current skills, certifications & education etc.
