Payroll Professional

Onsite

We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Professional to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in payroll processing and proficiency in utilizing payroll software to manage payroll operations efficiently. This position will be responsible for administering payroll for approximately 400 employees across multiple states in the United States.

What you'll do :

Process and administer employee payroll accurately and timely across multiple states and locations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Utilize payroll software to input, verify, and reconcile payroll data, including hours worked, bonuses, deductions, and taxes, for employees in various locations.

Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate payroll processing and reporting.

Investigate and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues promptly and efficiently.

Assist in payroll-related projects and initiatives aimed at improving processes and efficiency.

Provide training and support to team members on payroll processes and software utilization.

What you'll bring :

A minimum of 5 years multiple location and multiple state payroll experience

Strong understanding of payroll principles, laws, practices, and regulations across multiple states.

Proficiency in using payroll software similar to (e.g., ADP, Paychex, SAP, etc.) and MS Office applications.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or similar required, CPP certification a huge asset
