Summary / Résumé

The SAP Commerce Cloud Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting scalable, cloud-native e-commerce backend architectures, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability across enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities / Responsabilités

Design and implement backend architectural artifacts

Define platform-level systems and services (commerce, ERP, CMS, marketing, PIM) and their interconnectivity

Design secure, scalable, and performant cloud-native backend architectures

Maintain architecture decision records across the organization

Enable backend engineering policies, standards, and best practices

Implement CI / CD practices and environment configurations

Provide technology stack consultancy aligned with scalability, performance, and security requirements

Support backend operational practices including disaster recovery and availability planning

Define logging, monitoring, alerting, and on-call strategies

Implement testing strategies (unit, integration, acceptance, API contract testing)

Drive continuous improvement of backend engineering practices

Mentor and support engineering teams across the organization

Requirements / Profil recherché

Extensive experience in enterprise e-commerce platforms

Strong backend architecture and system design expertise

Deep understanding of cloud-native methodologies

Strong communication and presentation skills

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS, Google Cloud)

Docker, Kubernetes, container registries

CI / CD tools and quality frameworks (JUnit, SonarCloud, JMeter, Webdriver.io)

Monitoring and observability tools (ELK, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic)

OAuth2 and authentication / authorization best practices

Architecture and diagramming tools (Miro, Diagrams.net, Mermaid.js)
