We are seeking an exceptional Operating Partner to join our leadership team and play a pivotal role in accelerating value creation across our portfolio. Acting as the primary bridge between Helia Capital and portfolio company leadership, the Operating Partner will elevate performance, profitability, and long‑term enterprise value.

This is a mandate for a proven leader with a track record of operational excellence, strategic execution, and organizational transformation. Working closely with Board and management teams, the Operating Partner will shape and deliver strategic plans, performance goals, and operational standards that position our companies for sustainable growth.

What You’ll be Doing

• Partner with portfolio company executives and management teams to accelerate growth, profitability, and long‑term value creation.
• Oversee financial performance, with accountability for P&L, margin improvement, and return on investment.
• Drive operational excellence implementing best practices, optimizing processes, and executing strategic initiatives.
• Leverage industry, market, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and cross‑portfolio synergies.
• Steer executive performance and alignment by setting goals, facilitating accountability, managing KPIs and coaching leaders to achieve sustained impact.
• Build and strengthen portfolio company leadership through structuring, succession planning, and the hiring, onboarding, and development of senior executives.
• Champion change management, post‑acquisition integration, and organizational transformation initiatives.
• Step in to lead portfolio companies on an interim basis when required, ensuring continuity, stability, and performance.
• Represent Helia Capital externally, strengthening brand presence, stakeholder relationships, and strategic partnerships.

What You Bring to the Table

• Proven track record as a strategic senior operator (CEO, COO, President) with experience leading and scaling businesses.
• Expertise in people management, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to apply sound judgment, analyze performance, and drive profitable growth.
• Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and transformation.
• Executive presence with exceptional communication, influence, and coaching skills.
• Previous Board experience is an asset.
