Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Administrator to manage and enhance our technology infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a robust background in Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Cybersecurity.
The IT Infrastructure Administrator will ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of our IT systems, aligning IT initiatives with organizational goals.
Strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and relevant certifications are essential for this role.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard sensitive information.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
- Manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans to mitigate risks and minimize downtime in case of system failures or cyber-attacks.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential threats and weaknesses.
- Monitor security alerts and incidents, responding promptly to mitigate risks and resolve issues.
- Ensure proper access controls and identity management, including the implementation of multi-factor authentication and role-based access controls.
- Stay current with emerging security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve the organization's security posture.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote best practices and reduce the risk of human-related security breaches.
Health and Safety
- Ensure that self and others adhere to Canstar’s health and safety practices and procedures
- Ensure good housekeeping is kept to perform work safely and efficiently
- Understand safety policies and protocols
- Ensure that self and others on site are wearing all required PPE, when required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in IT infrastructure management with a focus on M365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Cybersecurity.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, security, and networking technologies.
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, Azure certifications) are highly desirable
