Millwright
Reporting to the Shop Manager, this position plays an integral role in our manufacturing operation and includes functions such as Assembly, Troubleshooting, Repair and Maintenance.
Position Responsibilities
- Installation & Assembly : Reading blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to assemble and install machinery like Winches, Pumps, Tanks and Robotic systems.
- Precision Alignment : Using specialized tools (e.g., micrometers, lasers, and plumb bobs) to align gears, shafts, and motors.
- Maintenance & Repair : Performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Fabrication : Operating machine and hand tools like lathes, mills, drills, grinders to fabricate or modify parts as needed.
- Rigging & Moving : Forklift and scissor lift to position, mount, install equipment, boilers, winches.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency in achieving results.
Key Skills
Technical Knowledge : Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and understanding PLC (Programmable Logic Control) systems.Manual Dexterity : Ability to work with hand and power tools with high precision.Physical Stamina : Capacity to lift heavy objects (often over 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work in noisy industrial environments.Certifications : Licensed Millwright or Apprentice Millwright.Position Requirements
4-5 years of experience working in a machine shop or industrial environment.Flexibility to work extended shifts, including evenings or weekends.MUST have good communication skills, work ethic, and be a team player with a positive attitude.#J-18808-Ljbffr
