Data Dev Lead

The Data Dev Lead will be responsible for leading data development activities, with a strong focus on hands‑on work using IBM DataStage.

This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing data workflows, working across SQL Server, PL / SQL, and mainframe environments.

The ideal candidate will ensure seamless data processing, job scheduling, and integration across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and perform hands‑on development using IBM DataStage for ETL workflows.

Develop, enhance, and maintain data integration processes across multiple environments.

Work with SQL Server databases to write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries.

Develop PL / SQL scripts and stored procedures for data transformation and processing.

Utilize Mainframe JCL for job management and batch processing activities.

Coordinate job scheduling and workflow management using scheduling tools.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data accuracy, performance, and reliability.

Troubleshoot issues across ETL, database, and mainframe processes.

Provide guidance and leadership to junior data developers as needed.

Required Qualifications

Strong hands‑on experience with IBM DataStage.

Proficiency in SQL Server and advanced SQL query development.

Experience with PL / SQL scripting and stored procedures.

Knowledge of Mainframe JCL and batch job scheduling.

Experience working with schedulers and operational job orchestration.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
