JOB :
Reporting to the Clinical Operations Manager and Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing nursing care to an assigned group of patients / clients according to established policies and procedures and the standards of practice for the Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia.
Duties include participating in care conferences and in developing care plans, conducting assessments, implementing and evaluating interviews, documenting information, and acting as an advocate for patients / residents.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education and Experience :
- Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Registration with the BC College of Nursing Professionals as a practicing LPN registrant. Current basic cardiac life support certification.
- Addiction Services (JD Code #002195) One year recent, related experience in providing addiction services in a health care setting or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) procedures appropriate for the area of service.
- Knowledge and Abilities :
