a subsidiary of ProMach, is excited to add a new Mechanical Design Engineer to our growing Engineering team. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and developing intricate machine models and engineering drawings, contributing directly to the evolution of our product lines. You’ll have the opportunity to embrace a variety of responsibilities that will enrich your professional experience and contribute to our shared success.

Are you passionate about this work?

• Design and develop intricate machine models and engineering drawings, contributing to the evolution of Wexxar’s product lines
• Utilize SolidWorks to craft and refine part models, assemblies, and drawings
• Ensure the precision and quality of engineering documentation and Bill of Materials (BOMs)
• Be the critical link between Engineering and Production, facilitating smooth operations
• Address engineering and production challenges as they emerge

Salary Grid :

Entry – 60k

Mid – 75k

Max – 100k

Experience designing machinery within the manufacturing industry

Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacture (DFM) preferred; experience in the packaging or corrugated industry is highly valued

Demonstrated ability to devise motion sequences and understand pneumatic component sizing

You are inquisitive, innovative, and detail-oriented, with an eagerness to learn and grow

Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment

Advanced in SolidWorks; certification preferred

Excellent attention to detail

Advanced understanding of BOMs, ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Engineering Change Control processes
