YOUR MISSION
Reporting to the Senior Director - Partnership Strategy, the Manager - Partnership Activation, Growth Division will be responsible for managing the partnership activation team, maintaining relationships between partners and Cirque du Soleil stakeholders and Executives, and ensuring that the potential value of each partnerships is maximized.
The incumbent acts as the strategic point of contact for all Global Partners. He / she is also responsible for ensuring that the department's strategic initiatives and business objectives are met.
The responsibilities of the position willinclude :
- Ensures partner contracts are activated by the team in accordance with contractual obligations and allocated budgets;
- Manages relationships with partner activation team members;
- Contributes to the development of the partner activation strategy and the activation department in collaboration with the department manager;
- Approves the promoters' partner deployment plan in accordance with Cirque du Soleil's partnership activation guidelines;
- Works closely with the various internal departments to validate and obtain their support in the development of offers designed and adapted specifically for each potential partner;
- Ensures that a database of operational information of the organization supporting the partnership is up-to-date and reliable;
- Autority to resolve escalated issues within the activation team and partners.
- Manages the activation team's operational budget;
- Performs any other related duties within the Partnership team.
YOUR UNIQUE EXPERTISE
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in partnership development and / or management, preferably international in scope, with a minimum of 2 years of management
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in marketing or communications;
- Knowledge of Cirque du Soleil, its corporate organization, its operations, its key people, an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop business relationships, listening to prospects and their needs and expectations
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail;
- Multilingual - French / English as a minimum. Other known languages appreciated;
- Frequent travel outside of Canada
- Based in Montreal
