Contract Building Operator
Immediate opening available for a qualified Contract Building Operator! Join an established property management team as a Building Operator responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of our designated property, located in SE Calgary off Macleod Trail.
You'll ensure a safe, healthy, and efficient environment while delivering professional tenant services.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
Supervise staff and contractors, organizing maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
Perform general repairs, address tenant complaints, and administer work orders.
Ensure compliance with fire and safety standards, Health and Safety Standards, and perform inspections.
Coordinate tenant build-outs, manage parking complaints, and support property cleaning.
Handle snow shoveling and salting as needed.
Qualifications :
Power Engineer's Certificate of Competency, 5th Class or equivalent - please note this is a mandatory requirement and only qualified candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities
Responsible for daily operations and maintenance of designated building ensuring safety, productivity, and efficiency.
Perform general repairs to the interior / exterior of the building
Organize maintenance, repairs and building upgrades (monitor, log, program, maintenance on building equipment and systems
such as boilers, chillers, air handling units, pumps, cooling towers, automation, security access, cameras, and lighting controls)
Perform general repairs, address tenant complaints, and administer work orders.
Coordinate tenant build-outs, manage parking, conduct floor checks, and support property cleaning.
Perform snow shoveling and salting if necessary.
Qualifications
Power Engineer's Certificate of Competency, 5th Class or equivalent.
Standard First Aid - Level A CPR.
Class 5 Alberta Driver's license.
Minimum 5 years of building operation and maintenance experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong customer service skills.
Knowledge of fire safety, plumbing, electrical / mechanical equipment, automation, and HVAC.
Ability to perform small carpentry, drywalling, flooring, painting, electrical, and plumbing tasks.
