Job Title : Production Support Analyst
Location : Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)
Duration : 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure application availability and stability by working closely with development, infrastructure teams, and business users.
- Resolve issues promptly and manage daily processes to meet service level agreements.
- Proactively drive improvements in capacity planning, resiliency, failover plans, and monitoring.
- Perform change management and deployment activities in production environments.
- Manage incident and problem prioritization, cause analysis, and escalation.
- Liaise with users, business sponsors, and application development teams.
- Support application development teams to ensure seamless production changes.
Must-Have Skills :
- Proficiency in IT with spreadsheet, analytical, and modeling skills.
- Working knowledge of Oracle SQL (ability to build ad hoc SQL queries).
- Working knowledge of UNIX (Solaris / Linux) for system navigation and core administration.
- Experience with real-time monitoring systems (e.g., ITRS Netagent).
- Familiarity with job scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys).
- Experience with messaging technologies (e.g., TIBCO EMS).
- Proficiency in issue tracking and reporting tools (e.g., JIRA).
