IT Coordinator - Infrastructure

I am currently looking for an IT Infrastructure Coordinator for one of our customers. This is a permanent position, with the possibility of telecommuting.

Salary varies according to experience ($95,000 to $115,000).

Your responsibilities will include :

• Lead and supervise a user support team as a system administrator.
• Oversee day-to-day IT operations to ensure optimal performance, reliability and security.
• Establish and enforce hardware standards, policies and support processes.
• Manage and resolve network infrastructure issues, including routers, switches and firewalls.
• Ensure the stability and security of existing servers.
• Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Responsible for budget and recruitment with the IT Manager.
• Contribute to the realization of projects and influence technological choices to facilitate integration and operation ;
• University degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a team leader in an IT operational environment.
• In-depth knowledge of systems administration, configuration management and change management best practices.
• In-depth understanding of networking principles and experience in managing network equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of security systems
• Mastery of hardware, software, firmware and network technologies.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent written and spoken French and English.
