Branch Manager - Material Handling – GTA

Brandt is currently seeking a Branch Manager for the GTA Area reporting to the Mississauga Construction & Forestry branch.

This role is responsible for managing all daily branch activities. This role demands a highly motivated individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will create a culture of prioritizing customer relationships and ensuring accountability within the team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Achieve sales growth and profitability in all areas of the branch.
  • Manage and develop all employees in the branch with the goal of building a motivated and successful workforce that is focused on the long-term success of the company, customers, and employees.
  • Provide feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures.
  • Manage branch account receivables in conjunction with the VP of Credit.
  • Sell new and used whole goods product within the designated sales territory.
  • Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Keep current on product knowledge and equipment.
  • Sell parts and service offerings within the designated sales territory.
  • Achieve asset management goals of turn and aging as well as protection of company assets. Included but not limited to new and used wholegood inventory.
  • Achieve Market Share goals as agreed for the long-term success of our manufacturer and the company.
  • Collaborate with fellow managers and branches to formulate company-wide initiatives aimed at achieving corporate objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

Must have experience in the material handling sales field.

Proven product support background and understanding of the departmental operations.

  • A demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff.
  • A strong work ethic, combined with a dedication to excellence.
  • Relevant post-secondary education is considered an asset.
  • A valid Driver’s License and a clean Driver’s Abstract.

Required Experience

Must have experience in the material handling sales field.

Proven product support background and understanding of the departmental operations.

  • A strong work ethic, combined with a dedication to excellence.
