Sr Analyst Software Engineer - Full Stack Java Developer

Designs, develops, modifies, adapts and implements solutions to information technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture and applications infrastructure.

Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions.

• Codes, tests, debugs and implements and maintains software solutions with some assistance on complex development tasks.
• Supports develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools and utilities with limited supervision.
• Develops security solutions for routine assignments progressing to assignments with increasing complexity.
• Provides application software development services or technical support, typically in a defined project often learning from more experienced peers.
• Develops program logic for new applications or analyses and modifies logic in existing applications, often learning on the job from more senior colleagues as size of the challenge increases.
• Modifies existing internal software products to add new functions, adapt to new hardware, improve performance or enhance product usability under limited supervision.
• Implements and monitors routine system improvements to ensure successful installation and increased efficiency.
• Ensures that applications are compatible across multiple computing platforms and browsers.
• Education Required : Degree qualified in a discipline related to Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• BS / MS in Computer Science, related degree, or comparable experience
• Heavy front-end JavaScript development experience – this role will have heavy focus on web-development but a full stack developer with front-end expertise is preferred.
• Strong programming skills in Java required (preferably Java 8+ experience) JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS (Required)React (Required)J2EE / JSF2NodeJS, JSON, RESTful web-servicesWeb-security skills : SAML, encryption, certificates, web attack protectionJSON / JAXRSDB expertise – both SQL and NoSQL varietiesJUnit, automated testing and test-driven development experience a plusSpring IOC framework experience a plusBuild tools : GitLab, Maven, RPM, Grunt, BowerTesting frameworks : jUnit, Karma, Jasmine, Mockito, ArquillianRepos : GIT (GitLab, BitBucket)
• Proficient in a LINUX command-line environment

• Proficient in developing, releasing, and supporting multiple high quality products
• Professional experience developing high performance, scalable, complex systems
• Strong social skills, sense of humor and exceptional character
• Developer team / technical experience using iterative methodologies a plus

The base pay range for this role is $86,000 - $118,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus / commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to : skill set, experience, education / training, business needs and market demands.
