Responsibilities
Work closely with global customers to
define system requirements , use cases, and software architecture for AR / VR / Smart Glass products.
Perform
technical feasibility assessment
and provide
effort and resource estimation
for new projects.
Collaborate with internal engineering teams (platform, multimedia, connectivity, sensors, camera, and OS) to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Analyze customer requirements, clarify ambiguities, and
convert them into implementable feature specifications .
Lead technical discussions with external partners and customers; provide on-site or remote engineering support as needed.
Coordinate system integration, issue triage, and debugging during the development lifecycle.
Support validation, optimization, and software release processes.
Maintain alignment between
Qualcomm BSP features
and customer product roadmaps.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience
in embedded software development or system integration for consumer electronics.
Hands-on experience with
Qualcomm platforms (QCS / SDM / QCM series)
— preferably with experience in Android or Linux environments.
Strong understanding of
system-level software architecture , including HAL, middleware, and application framework.
Solid experience in
system integration, debugging, and performance analysis
(logcat, ADB, QXDM, QDART, etc.).
Excellent communication skills — able to interface with global customers in English fluently, both technical and business discussions.
Demonstrated ability to
collaborate cross-functionally
and manage multi-site projects (e.g., China / Taiwan R&D + North America customers).
Experience in
AR / VR / Smart Glass, IoT, or Camera-related products
is highly preferred.
Familiarity with
effort estimation, technical proposal support, and customer requirement traceability
is a plus.
