Architecture49 is seeking Intermediate Architects  to join our GTA team.

Our team specializes in the design of world-class transportation facilities and sports and entertainment venues. The central hub of Toronto’s office brings together innovation, creativity, and a commitment to architectural excellence. The team is dedicated to shaping the urban and suburban landscapes throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Our region delivers exceptional design solutions that elevate functionality and create spaces that inspire, engage, and bring people together.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team in producing architectural design solutions and construction drawings.
• Manage a group of architectural staff, leading project meetings, and coordinating all other building disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Perform internal reviews and quality checks of the models and drawings to ensure compliance with BIM standards.
• Research materials, products and technologies required for the design and incorporate into the details, specification and other documents.
• Manage a team of consultants.
• Client communication.
• Provide technical and administrative oversight to ensure that both the internal and external client needs are met and that the projects are delivered within cost, quality and schedule targets.
• Manage the financial aspect of the project including planning, scheduling, forecasting and staffing and working with accounting to achieve the desired results.
• Travel to remote First Nation communities and work sites.
