Job Summary:

• Senior leadership role overseeing conference & event operations
• Manages Conference Service Managers, Coordinators, Concierge
• Owns large-scale conferences from contract → execution
• Heavy on client management, execution, forecasting, and space optimization

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the conference services team
• Oversee major events and conferences end-to-end
• Ensure smooth execution, strong guest experience, and revenue performance
• Handle forecasting, resumes, BEOs, contracts, and space usage
• Work closely with Director on budgets, planning, and operations
• Client relationship management + site inspections
• Hiring, onboarding, training
• Run weekly conference meetings when needed

Requirements:

• Prior leadership experience in conference/events/hospitality
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving
• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Event systems + Microsoft Office
• Post-secondary education = nice to have, not critical
