Kanopi Studios is a fully distributed Design, Development & Support Agency specializing in Drupal and WordPress. We partner with mission‑driven clients to design, build, and support high‑impact websites. We are hiring an Agency Sales Representative to drive new business and nurture client relationships across the company.
Please note : Kanopi Studios will be closed for winter break from December 24, 2025 to January 2, 2026. Responses and application review will be slower during this time.
Compensation & Pay
Base salary range : CA$58,000.00–CA$70,800.00 per year. This is a full‑time, salary‑based position (non‑commissioned). The role is 100% remote; candidates must reside in the US or Canada.
Responsibilities
- Intake and assess client needs to align with sales goals.
- Qualify new leads using the Sales Checkpoints and Milestones process.
- Conduct ongoing follow‑up on qualified leads, addressing technical and business objections.
- Facilitate needs assessments with key decision‑makers.
- Capture essential requirements, business goals, KPIs, and assumptions for strategy, design, development, and support services.
- Present Kanopi’s solutions via targeted sales materials and proposals.
- Maintain accurate documentation in Teamwork and track outcomes in HubSpot.
- Own business development relationships independently, coordinating with other sales team members.
- Create new client relationships and collaborate with managers on sales tactics.
- Lead presentation logistics and deliver autonomously.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Participate in developing creative assets and sales documents.
- Ensure handoffs meet internal documentation standards for sales engineering and implementation.
Requirements
Proven agency experience cultivating business and growing clientele in website, SaaS, or technology sectors.Strong collaborative and consistent communication skills.Passion for helping clients succeed.Ability to turn challenges into opportunities.Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.Creative thinking orientation.Adaptability to fast‑paced environments.Self‑directed, team‑player, fast learner.Passion for web and open source development.Technical experience with websites or technical services (bonus).Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of Drupal & WordPress website sales experience.Past experience as a website sales or B2B business development representative at a digital agency.Experience with HubSpot and TeamWork.Not a fit for
Lone‑wolf salesperson preferring independent processes.Detail‑averse individuals.No remote digital agency experience.Preference for product sales over consultative service engagements.Application Process
