In anticipation of future needs Robert Half is currently seeking Senior Payroll Specialists throughout the Calgary region.
As a Senior Payroll Specialist your day to day responsibilities may include, but not be limited to :
- Processing a high-volume payroll for international salaried employees
- Preparing and analyzing various payroll reports / records
- Performing benefit administration
- Overseeing new hire, termination, LOE, and disability requests
- Handling month and year end closing duties
- Ensuring payroll compliance standards are maintained
- Identifying areas of growth and improvement within the payroll process
- Entering payroll data and managing payroll inquires
- Ad-hoc duties as required
Job Requirements :
A successful Senior Payroll Specialist will possess the following :
- 3+ years of experience in Senior Payroll Specialist or similar role
- Intermediate knowledge in Excel
- Experienced in Day Force
- Superior knowledge in Canadian and US payroll rules and regulations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- First rate accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Superb interpersonal and customer service skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment while meeting tight deadlines
- Available to start immediately
