Job Overview

This is a temporary seasonal position running from May to September 2026. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Restaurant Bartender is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the bar area, including beverage preparation, bar service, inventory support, and providing attentive service to Members and guests. The role may also include serving tables within the bar section as required.

Hourly wage range: $19.00 – $19.75, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

The following outlines the primary responsibilities of this role, including but not limited to:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Club standards and recipes
• Provide professional, courteous, and efficient bar service to Members and guests
• Maintain responsibility for the bar area, including cleanliness, organization, and presentation
• Accurately take and process beverage and food orders using the POS system
• Serve tables within the bar section as required, ensuring a seamless guest experience
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns
• Adhere to Smart Serve requirements and responsible alcohol service standards
• Restock bar supplies, glassware, and garnishes as needed throughout service
• Assist with inventory counts and notify leadership of low stock levels
• Ensure bar equipment is cleaned, maintained, and properly stored
• Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and Club policies
• Work collaboratively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to support overall service flow

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or private club environment is preferred
• Smart Serve Certification – required
• Strong knowledge of beverage service, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic offerings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Demonstrated commitment to service excellence, professionalism, and teamwork
