Quality Technician

Position : Quality Technician - Days

Location : Vaughan, ON

Shift : Days (Monday to Friday)

Salary : $24-$30 per hour + OT

Industry : Manufacturing / HVAC / Quality / Technical

Employment Term : Full Time / In-person

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Utilizing statistical analysis to validate equipment capability when necessary.
• Participating in product First Article Inspections (FAI) as directed by the Quality Manager.
• Developing and maintaining calibration work instructions.
• Handling the management and updates of the SDS / MSDS database, customer environmental requirements, and environmental audits.
• Collaborating with suppliers to monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
• Additional related duties.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Post-Secondary Education in Mechanical Engineering or related.
• Minimum 2 years related quality experience within the manufacturing setting.
• Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively demonstrated.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and PDMain (MRP Software).
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
