Gilead is currently looking for a Engineering Technician II for our Edmonton, Alberta facility.
Role and Responsibilities :
Write and approve commissioning and qualification specification documents, verification protocols, and reports for manufacturing equipment, support systems, and computer systems.
Execute or overseeingexecution of commissioning and qualification protocols with limited direct supervision.
Provides validation expertise and guidance to projects and unplanned changes to equipment, support system, and computer systems within the manufacturing facilities.
Key Attributes :
Proficient understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards relevant to the industry.
Demonstrate a comprehensive working knowledge of industry practices.
Adept at operating plant equipment and plant control systems for commissioning and testing purposes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, is essential.
Engage in cross-functional project teams under guidance.
Availability outside of standard operating hours to address commissioning or qualification issues related to plant equipment and technical projects is expected.
Be available outside of normal operating hours to assist in resolving commissioning or qualification problems associated with plant equipment and technical projects.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills, are necessary for success in this role.
Requirements :
Associate's Degree from a recognized University or Institution and 5+ years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma and 6+ years of relevant experience.
