Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Financial Branch Protection in Ajax, Ontario. Job Title : Security Officer - Financial Branch Protection . Type : Full Time. Pay rate : $19.50-19.71 per hour. Shifts : Monday-Friday, 0900-1730.

Overview

We are looking for Security Officer - Financial Branch Protection who is tasked with providing constant surveillance, protection, and a visible security presence within the client site. This role typically involves standing for extended periods—often for 8 hours or more during a shift.

Responsibilities

• Incident Reporting : Document and report incidents accurately, ensuring all relevant details are captured for future reference and analysis.
• Maintain a visible security presence : Staying stationed at a fixed location within the retail premises to deter theft, vandalism, or other suspicious activities.
• Threat Assessment : Evaluate situations to determine the level of risk and recommend appropriate responses.
• Professional Communication : Maintain clear and professional communication through email correspondence with team members and other stakeholders.
• Assist customers and staff : By providing directions, answering safety-related questions, and offering assistance as needed, without disrupting the flow of operations.
• Emergency Response : Act swiftly in emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
• Documentation and Record Keeping : Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections, and other relevant documentation for compliance and review.
