Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Montreal site is looking for a new QSHE Manager to join our Contract Logistics team.
Your Role
You will be responsible for the overall quality and safety for the full environment of our new distribution center. We will count on your knowledge of ISO QSHE standards and successful track record implementing and leading quality and safety programs to ensure a safe, accident-free environment and that products are safe, reliable, and meet or exceed quality guidelines.
Your Responsibilities
- Be the subject matter expert for Quality, Safety Health, Environment, and Security matters within the branch
- Conduct investigations and take the lead in root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Coordinate and implement related standards and procedures
- Train staff and supervisors on accident and injury prevention, product and process safety, and good work practices
- Maintain employee awareness and compliance with QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health, & Environment)
- Monitor and advise on product quality matters
- Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures; identify and assist with implementing improvements
- Assess and prevent health and safety hazards and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Track and validate approved suppliers list through our supplier management tools
- Maintain calibration records, reports, and equipment documentation
- Maintain QSHE training matrix, training records, and certificates
- Host audits conducted by clients, third parties, and government agencies
- Coordinate and support Kuehne+Nagel's products with quality matters (Pharma Chain, Engine Chain, Secure Chain)
- Maintain calibration records, reports and equipment within facility for Kuehne Nagel and customer equipment (temperature control when applied)

Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4+ years’ experience in Pharma 3PL / Distribution Centre / Warehouse environment
- 4+ years’ experience in similar role with Management and leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of employment standards, legislation, common workplace hazards, and associated controls
- Knowledge of quality systems (GxP, GMP ISO, Lean, TPS,
- Proficient MS Word and PowerPoint, and can maintain complex Excel spreadsheets
- 1+ years of Continuous Improvement experience using Lean Six Sigma and 5S methodologies
