Overview:

Greenhouse is seeking part-time and full-time Shopkeepers to join our retail team! A Shopkeeper is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations and financial success of their location. You model and uphold Greenhouses core values in every interaction, whether with customers, fellow team members or management alike.

Shopkeepers Responsibilities Include:

• Provide sincere and courteous customer service; educate customers on our brand, products, and services
• Have a thorough understanding of daily operational requirements; work as an active member of the team to accomplish tasks and achieve sales goals
• Build a healthy rapport with customers; strive to gain customer and brand loyalty
• Assist in minimizing waste and reducing losses at store level; safe cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness of store; perform additional visual merchandising and maintenance procedures
• Understand and take ownership of performance indicated for sales and services

Health & Safety:

• Maintain all COVID-19 Health & Safety regulations and follow all pertinent guidelines (i.e. PPE requirements and in-store capacity) for the safety of yourself, staff, and the community
• Uphold cleanliness and consistent sanitizing procedures in place at all times to meet Health and Safety protocols

Physical Requirements:

• Continually able to stand for extended periods of time to provide floor coverage and customer service
• Ability to regularly perform store maintenance: sweep, empty trash, clean
• Ability to safely lift boxes up to 50 lbs

Skills & Qualifications:

• A high degree of passion and knowledge about natural health and wellness
• Customer centric; go above and beyond customer expectations and thrive to understand your store and the customers needs
• Works well in a team environment with the ability to prioritize and multitask
• Ability to be innovative, creative and adaptable; have an open mind and approach new ideas with enthusiasm
• Maintain a positive and encouraging work environment
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented
• Knowledge of the Greenhouse brand and product offerings is an asset

Vacancy Status:This is an existing vacancy.

Annual Compensation Range: $18.25 CAD per hour
