To support our ongoing development, we are looking for a warehouse administrative assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Direct staff;
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines;
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages;
  • Answer electronic enquiries;
  • Compile data, statistics and other information;
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory;
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas;
  • Perform data entry;
  • Provide customer service;
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks;
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations;
  • Perform routine clerical duties;
  • Participate in staff meetings;
  • Visually inspect products for quality;
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items;
  • Return faulty assembles to production for repair;
  • Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments;
  • Maintain quality control and production records;
  • Perform general clerical duties;
  • Conduct quality audits;
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment;
  • Print and photocopy material;
  • Check products for quality control.

Requirements

  • College diploma;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Computer and technology knowledge (MS GP, MS Excel, MS Office);
  • Bookkeeping and accounting is an asset;
  • Familiar with warehouse operations;
  • Must be able to lift items of 50 pounds.

Working conditions

Warehouse - fast pace environment - must be available for annual inventory - security boots required
