Asa Fire Safety Inspector you will be responsible for inspectingbuildings and facilities to ensure compliance with fire safetycodes regulations and standards.
Your role will be crucial insafeguarding public safety and preventing fire hazards througheffective inspections andenforcement.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Conductinspections of commercial residential and industrial buildings toassess compliance with fire safety codes regulations andstandards.
- Reviewand evaluate fire safety plans fire alarm systems sprinkler systemsand other fire protection measures to ensure they meet regulatoryrequirements.
- Identifyand document fire hazards code violations and safety deficienciesand recommend corrective actions to addressissues.
- Preparedetailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records ofinspections violations and enforcementactions.
- Provideguidance and support to property owners managers and businessoperators regarding fire safety practices and regulatorycompliance.
- Respondto fire safetyrelated inquiries and complaints and investigateincidents or violations asneeded.
- Collaboratewith fire departments emergency responders and other municipalagencies to address fire safety concerns and support public safetyinitiatives.
- Stayupdated on changes in fire safety codes regulations and industrybest practices to ensure effective inspections andrecommendations.
Requirements
- Relevantcertification or diploma in Fire Safety Fire Protection Engineeringor a relatedfield.
- Provenexperience as a fire safety inspector or in a similar role with astrong understanding of fire safety codes andregulations.
- Excellentobservational and analytical skills for assessing fire safetysystems and identifyinghazards.
- Strongcommunication skills for interacting with property owners fireofficials and municipalauthorities.
- Detailorientedwith strong organizational skills for managing inspection reportsandrecords.
- Abilityto stay current with evolving fire safety regulations industrypractices and technologyadvancements
