Role : PSA Engineer – Dispatcher Training Simulator Location : Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Duration : Long Term Must Have Technical / Functional Skills Administer and optimize Energy Management System (EMS) system through application configuration, tuning and security patching preferably on GE PowerOn Reliance (XA21) and / or AEMS Platform Software, as well as EMS of any equivalent platforms from Siemens, OSI, ABB, Schneider etc.Simulated RTU, Simulated IED, ConsoleICCP, IEC, DNP3, Modbus, Data Modeling, XML / JSON Proficient in both Linux and Windows operating environments.Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.Over 5 years of experience in Power system applications including Power Flow, State Estimator, Contingency analysis, Load Frequency Control(AGC), Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) with expertise in model validation event creation Experience in programming languages for system integration or scripting, such as C, C++, PERL, or similar. SQL & Shell scripting, and ability to read and interpret logs and debug files.Must have experience in picking up and installing fixes on live customer systems Roles & Responsibilities Model validation and defect fixing for DTS system.Perform necessary technical corrective actions to restore failed or failing technical services on EMS system.Conduct code review, deployment, testing and monitoring of break / fix patches and modification.
