About the Program

PACE (Program for Academic Coaching and Enrichment) focuses on math and literacy support for children in KG to Grade 12. PACE is designed to empower our young leaders of tomorrow by developing their academic skills, growing their confidence, and improving their resilience.

About the Role

Tutor is responsible for working with students in their assigned grade (assigned based on preference / comfort level) :

  • Facilitate small-group Math and English Language sessions once a week with students using workbooks, homework and digital technology (IXL)
  • Cover relevant Math and Language topics according to provincial curriculum; lessons plans and training will be provided
  • Encourage students to build their math and language skills and foster student independence
  • Tutoring is held in the Jamatkhana classrooms

About You

We are looking for candidates with the following skills :

  • Be fun and engaging
  • Enjoy working with students
  • Reliable, Responsible and Punctual
  • Speaks fluent English
  • Preferably someone who knows the AB curriculum (not a requirement)
  • Speaks Dari, Farsi, or Urdu (not a requirement)
