A global financial services provider is looking for a SVP, Fund Accounting – Private Equity to lead strategic quality initiatives and drive operational excellence across their fund accounting function. This is a senior leadership opportunity ideal for a seasoned fund accounting professional with deep technical expertise and a passion for process improvement, innovation, and team leadership.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Quality Leadership
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide quality assurance frameworks and protocols
- Define KPIs and reporting dashboards to track performance and compliance
- Lead a high-performing QA team, providing mentorship, structure, and direction
- Spearhead department-wide continuous improvement and risk mitigation initiatives
Operational Execution & Tactical Solutions
Identify operational inefficiencies and implement scalable, practical solutionsStandardize workflows and escalation protocols to minimize service disruptionsDesign and deploy tools for real-time monitoring and automated quality checksCreate resolution matrices, troubleshooting guides, and quality control templatesProcess Enhancement & Quality Control
Strengthen internal controls and refine quality checkpoints in key workflowsPerform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issuesMaintain robust quality documentation and control procedures aligned with industry best practicesLead the rollout of training programs focused on quality awareness and operational excellenceStakeholder Engagement

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; CPA designation is a plus10+ years of experience in fund accounting, specifically within private assets or private equitySignificant hands-on experience in quality assurance / control within financial servicesDeep understanding of accounting frameworks including US GAAP, Canadian GAAP, and IFRSProven leadership experience and a track record of driving organizational changeStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to design tactical solutions to complex challengesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Why Join
