Summary
The Marketing Manager has a vital role in developing creating and implementing creative go-to-market plans for our key manufacturer partners.
Successful candidate will champion programs and collaborate with : Sales, Vendor Business Managers, Purchasing, Advertising and Executive team.
This role will also engage heavily with manufacturer partners and funded infrastructure to gain feedback and evaluate future opportunities towards the creation and evolution of marketing strategies.
The co-owner in this role will have defined revenue and profit expectations, goals and satisfaction KPIs. The key individual must be highly creative and maintain a Win-Win approach across many stakeholders’.
Responsibilities
- Develop Best in class proposal-based channel marketing strategies.
- Assist in establishing the overall SMB Go-To-Market plan.
- Manage multiple product categories and business relationships.
- Meets assigned revenue, profit and investment objectives.
- Owns cross-departmental planning and project management which includes establishing milestones, project tracking, driving mutual performances and meeting deadlines.
- Identify incremental marketing opportunities to layer upon existing approved manufacturer partner’s plans.
- Identify and collaborate with purchasing and sales team objectives in specified quarters and develop marketing plans to help achieve.
- Develop relationship with manufacturer partners to meet with and discuss business opportunities and challenges.
- Able to assess market opportunities and determine the best fit engagement campaign.
- Identify new program activities / offerings based upon manufacturer partners needs and in alignment with overall Sales strategy.
- Responsible for maintaining high satisfaction ratings with our manufacturer partners.
- Achieve ongoing measurement goals (KPIs) including but not limited to development of creative Marketing strategy & plans, relationship building & management with both internal and external stakeholders, overall manufacturer partners satisfaction and revenue growth.
- Understand how to develop data-driven marketing plans and speak to results.
- Travel to D&H Events when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field required.
- 6+ years Marketing experience required.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
