The impact you’ll have :
Our Operational Transformation and Improvement team is looking for a curious and motivated Specialist to support with enhancing our operational processes and enabling the achievement of our organizational goals.
This role will be responsible for supporting and leading project execution and improvement initiatives that impact end-to-end operational processes across multiple functions.
You will report to the Sr. Manager, Operational Transformation & Improvement and collaborate with business partners from cross-functional areas to understand challenges and leverage data to drive foundational operational improvements.
This role will proactively work with key stakeholders to identify opportunities, lead in the investigation of issues and own / support improvement initiatives.
This role is hybrid with the expectation of being in the Toronto office 2-4 times per month.
What you'll do :
- Drive continuous improvement by leading projects and improvement initiatives that impact end-to-end operational processes across multiple functions.
- Develop and create insights from key stakeholders to understand challenges and identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency & productivity that impact multiple functional areas and teams.
- Leverage data and analytics to drive continuous improvements across the broader Operations team.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing activities for implementations where needed.
- Build and maintain accurate process documentation, standard operating procedures, and policies.
- Act as the connection point between the business and its supporting functions to identify improvements
- Assist in development and execution of training and change management.
What you'll bring to the table :
- 3+ years of data analytics and / or process improvement experience
- Ability to function with a high level of independence and task ambiguity
- Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to draw insights and make data driven recommendations
- Experience using Power BI to pull insights from the dashboards
- Visio experience preferred
- Intermediate Excel experience required (ie : VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, formuals, analyzing complex data sets, etc)
- General experience with the Microsoft Office suite required
- Strong problem-solving skills with proven application in the design and implementation of a business solution
- Comfortability working with processes and understanding of process flows
