Your future duties and responsibilities :
This role is the leader of a data management team across multiple locations for a large client.
Key Responsibilities include :
- Leveraging tools and technologies roll out of data governance frameworks, including policies, standards, procedures, processes and metrics.
- Giving Hands-on support and execution of Data governance practices on behalf of business, coordinate the work and deliverables
- Developing & maintaining inventory of the information assets, including authoritative systems, data domains, data owners, and the enterprise data governance platform, etc.
- Facilitating and conducting workshops with business partners to identify the assets, collect & curate the metadata
- Serving as a liaison between Business, Functional areas and technology to ensure that data related business assets are clearly identified and defined.
- Defining indicators for performance, compliance and adoption of data related policies, standards and practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role :
- Exp with data governance, metadata management and data quality practices
- Hands-on experience in any one of the Data Governance tools, preferably Collibra
- 5+ years of IT experience with 3-4 years of experience in Data Governance
