Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Control Inspector - Electrical will be part of a high‑performing project team dedicated to delivering a multi‑year, billion‑dollar major rail infrastructure project through collaboration and a best‑for‑project vision.

This Position is in Pickering, ON.

What You Will Be Working On

• Perform quality control inspections on electrical work related to civil infrastructure projects such as highways, bridges, tunnels, and transit systems.
• Verify that electrical installations are in compliance with project drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and complete associated checklists and reports.
• Support field crews and subcontractors by answering questions related to electrical quality requirements and proper installation procedures.
• Document inspection findings, deficiencies, and corrective actions using standardized forms and digital systems (e.g., Procore, SharePoint).
• Assist in preparing and organizing documentation for project turnover and commissioning phases.
• Participate in walkthroughs with project stakeholders and assist with identifying punch list items related to electrical work.
• Maintain organized and up‑to‑date records of inspection reports, test results, and as‑built documentation.
• Help coordinate third‑party inspections, utility approvals, and testing as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors to address and close out non‑conformances in a timely manner.
• Stay informed on relevant codes and standards such as the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC), CSA, and other applicable civil project requirements.
