Description
- Interfaces with customers in a courteous, business-like manner answering their inquiries and assisting in meeting their needs and getting information from other sources if required.
- Maintaining control of field mechanics and keeping field work orders up to date.
- Working with the shop foreman to maintain control of all work orders.
- Working with the parts personnel to keep control of parts and proper billing.
- Oversees the scheduling of field technicians and maintains the service board in the shop to ensure effective service.
- Retrieving, filing and maintenance of SMFs (Service Maintenance Forms)
- Works with branch leadership and shop foreman to maintain and support branch with cost effective ideas and processing Updating equipment statuses
- Tracking down PO’s from customers
- Dispatch field technicians
- Supply shop mechanics with paperwork for their day-to-day duties
- Maintaining branch invoice folders
- Maintaining weekly parts counts and ordering of all parts / shop supplies
- Responsible for activating site access processes
- Other administrative responsibilities as needed
Qualifications :
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in a mechanical or shop setting is an asset
- Previous experience in the rental industry considered an asset
- Experience with coordinating multiple schedules
- Proficient reading skills
- Strong MS Office Skills
- Inventory and or parts experience would be considered a strong asset
- Strong attention to detail
