Asa Corporate Lawyer / Associate you will advise clients on a broadrange of corporate legal matters including mergers and acquisitionscorporate governance contract law and compliance.
You will beresponsible for drafting and negotiating legal documents managingtransactions and providing strategic legal guidance to supportbusinessobjectives.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Providelegal advice on corporate transactions including mergersacquisitions and jointventures.
- Draftreview and negotiate contracts agreements and other legaldocuments.
- Ensurecompliance with corporate governance standards and legalregulations.
- Representclients in negotiations mediations and legalproceedings.
- Collaboratewith internal teams and external counsel on complex legalmatters.
Requirements
- JurisDoctor (JD) degree from an accredited lawschool.
- Membershipin good standing with the provincialBar.
- 3years of experience in corporate law preferably in a law firmsetting.
- Strongunderstanding of corporate law including M&A governance andcompliance.
- Excellentnegotiation communication and interpersonalskills.
