Responsibilities

Actively working to support the Service Department in identifying opportunities for coaching and development within your team.

Actively working to communicate and support personnel for further skill development.

  • Help communicate technical problems to service staff and assisting Service Advisors with difficult diagnostics
  • Looking for gaps in knowledge and productivity, working ongoing with the team to address and improve efficiencies.
  • Organizing the shop floor and parking lot to ensure that areas are both safe and effectively accessible.
  • Support the supervision of Technicians in repair procedures, which includes reviewing the quality of service repairs performed and helping to ensure dealership standards are met.
  • Reviewing all shop comebacks with appropriate Technicians.
  • Ensuring that the monthly department targets and gross profit objectives are achieved or surpassed.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience in automotive retail, ideally in a Service Advisor role.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • High attention to detail / organization / time management.
  • High level of self-motivation, accountability for goals / targets.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision with high attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a management role is an asset.
